Shawn Schwaner overcame lung cancer and traveled to the 7 highest peaks

Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is known for its dangerous climbing conditions, among which are: strong gusts of wind, lack of oxygen, blizzards and deadly avalanches.
Anyone who decides to conquer Mount Everest faces incredible dangers along the way. But for Shawn Schwaner, as practice shows, there are simply no obstacles.
Shawn was not just cured of cancer in his time, his case is considered a medical miracle. He is the only person in the world who has survived the diagnosis of Hodgkin’s disease and Askin’s tumor. He was diagnosed with stage 4 and terminal cancer at the age of thirteen, and doctors predict he should not have lived three months.
However, Shawn miraculously overcame his disease, which soon returned when doctors again found a tumor the size of a golf ball in his right lung. After the second surgery to remove the tumor, the doctors decided that the patient would not last more than two weeks… Ten years later, however, Shawn (whose lungs only function partially) became known worldwide as the first cancer survivor to climb Mount Everest.
After conquering the highest point of the planet, Shawn is full of desire and strength to move on and inspire people around the world to fight the disease by his example.
